Virtual Reality-Based Parallel Coordinates Plots Enhanced with Explainable AI and Data-Science Analytics for Decision-Making Processes

Virtual Reality-Based Parallel Coordinates Plots Enhanced with Explainable AI and Data-Science Analytics for Decision-Making Processes

Members of JAHCAI - Szymon Bobek and Grzegorz J. Nalepa - published a paper with group of researchers from Cambridge University.

The authors published results on their work on refining the Immersive Parallel Coordinates Plots (IPCP) system for Virtual Reality (VR). Through the use of data-science analytics, together with clustering algorithms (incl. a Subspace Memory Clustering [SMC] solution), they managed to automate a part of analytical work of IPCP, which earlier required engagement of a human expert. The system is tested on sample datasets representing optimum solutions of two different multi-objective optimization studies in turbomachinery.
